Discovering Rome – Walking Tour
This walking tour of three hours you will see the most famous sites in the city, in one morning you will travel through centuries of history and discover the main attractions of the city. CAMPO DEI FIORI begins with its open-air market and the statue of Giordano Bruno. Then we know the PIAZZA FARNESE, with its imposing Palazzo facing the square.
A few steps away is the Palazzo Spada with forced perspective introduced by architect Borromini. Continue to Piazza Navona, one of the most famous squares in the world. The symbol of the square is the “Fountain of the Four Rivers”, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, in competition with the famous church of Borromini S.Agnese in Agone. In ten minutes we reached the Piazza della Rotonda, where PANTHEON is located and whose interior visit. Then we moved to the Piazza Colonna, with its marble column of the second century that reflects the celebration of the victories of Emperor Marcus Aurelius over the Germanic populations.
We visit the Trevi Fountain, certainly the most famous and spectacular fountain in Rome. The last stop on our tour is the Piazza di Spagna. In the center of the square you can admire the Fontana della Barcaccia made by Pietro Bernini (father of Gian Lorenzo). In this area you will find the biggest and most famous Italian brands.
